I'm a new member, but long-time GN reader, and this is my first post. Since there's not many reggae songs on this site, I thought I'd chip in with this one. All opinions, suggestions, questions are welcome.
This song is in the key of A and uses just three chords A, D, E (I-IV-V). I play with as if it's in the key of G and place a capo on the 2nd fret to get the original key. This way, I use the chord forms G, C, D, and it's easier to incorporate the bass melody and play a recognizable solo arrangement.

Note that I strum just the treble notes to get a closer feel to the original, as well as to isolate the bass later on. If you want you can use the (320033) version of the G chord.

You can use barred D chord (x54232)and follow the same pattern played on the preceding C chord if you want.

I seem to remember being in Kingston for Reggae Sunsplash in the late 70's early eighties, but it's a bit foggy. I do remember seeing Marley though.

Tamuka, like the way you've transposed this to use a capo.....
Also sounds good if there's two of you playing guitar and one of you's playing electric chords an octave higher....

Nice tab. I always just strummed it playing the open chords. But this sounds nice with the capo - the alternating notes are easier to reach.
