Anyone got strumming patterns for the good old doo wop feel?

Thanks

I have been kicking this around in my head since you posted it and can't come up with a good recommendation.. Most of the rhythm was in the vocals and the music was incidental. I remember playing a lot of it and it seems it was like 3 or 4 chords with mostly down strokes. Sorry I couldn't help more

Didn't Doo-Wap develop from Barber's shop quartets? If so, it developed from an "a capella" style - completely without background music. Without the backing singers, Doo-Wap really wouldn't exist - they give it the rhythm and style.

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
