Here you go then Vic, as you requested her is one of the Oasis tracks you said I sholud tab.

The Importance of Being Idle. Oasis

Chords used are

Am------X02210
E--------022100
Fmaj7--133210
C-------X32010 or X35553
B7------X21202 or X24242
E7------022130 or 020100
G-------320003 or 355433

I shall start with the intro which revolves around the Am & E chords.
and if I was to show a chord chatrt would look like this

Am-Am,Am,Am,Am,E/--Am-Am,Am,Am,Am,E/--Am-Am,Am,Am,Am,E/--Am-E-Am

Am-Am,Am--Am,Am/Am-Am,Am--Am,Am/Am-Am,Am--Am,Am/Am-Am,Am--Am,Am.

Thats the intro as best I can show in chord form.
To enlighten you further as to the timing, what you have is

Hit the first Am chord and then mute it,the following four Am's are
played in quick succesion then hit the E chord and mute soon afterwards.
the same for the following two bars until you get to the Am-E-Am
which are played and then muted 1 beat each

Here is the url for the intro mp3 [url] http://rodders.dmusic.com/

VERSE

This is played as follows

Am-Am,Am--Am,Am / Fmaj7-Fmaj,7Fmaj--7Fmaj,7Fmaj7 /

C-C,C--C,C / B7-B7,B7,E--E,E /

Played FOUR times

Timing on this bit is slightly differentand is

First Am is played and lasts two beats, then one beat for the next
two for the next one beat for the last and mute. The same for the
Fmaj7's and the C's the B7's are played two beats one beat one beat
E two beats, one beat one beat, then mute

Here is the url for the Verse mp3 http://rodders.dmusic.com/

CHORUS

Dm,Dm,Dm,Dm / Am,Am,Am,Am / Dm,Dm,Dm,Dm / Am,Am,Am,Am

Dm,Dm,Dm,Dm / Am,Am,Am,Am / Fmaj7-Fmaj,7Fmaj--7Fmaj,7Fmaj7

Fmaj7-Fmaj,7Fmaj--7Fmaj,7Fmaj7 / G-G,G--G,G / E-E,E--E,E

E-E,E--E,E / E7-E7,E7,E7,E7,E7,E7

Timing is, one beat each for the Dm's and the Am's
The Fmaj7's are played as the verse, so are the G's
and E's and the first E7, the subsequent E7's are played as
half a beat each.

Then comes the BREAK which is exactly the same as the
first four bars of the intro

Followed by another verse, again played four times

Followed by a Chorus played as before

Followed by the OUTRO which again is the same as the first four bars of the intro.

Here is how it all fits together
I sold my soul for the second time
Am Fmaj7

Cos the man don't pay me
C B7 E

I begged my landlord for some more time
Am Fmaj7

He said "Son the bills are waiting"
C B7 E

My best friend called me the other night
Am Fmaj7

He say "Man - you crazy"
C B7 E

My girlfriend told me to get a life
Am Fmaj7

She say "Boy - you lazy"
C B E

But I don't mind
Dm Am

As long as there's a bed beneath the stars that shine
Dm Am

I'll be fine, if you give me a minute
Dm Am Fmaj7

A man's got a limit
Fmaj7

I can't get a life if my heart's not in it
G E E7

But I don't mind
As long as there's a bed beneath the stars that shine
I'll be fine, if you give me a minute
A man's got a limit
I can't get a life if my heart's not in it

I've lost my faith in the summer time
Cos it don't stop raining
The sky all day is as black as night
But I'm not complaining
I begged my doctor for one more line
He say "Son - words fail me
It ain't your place to be killing time"
I guess I'm just lazy

But I don't mind
As long as there's a bed beneath the stars that shine
I'll be fine, if you give me a minute
A man's got a limit
I can't get a life if my heart's not in it

I hope you have as much fun playing this as I had putting it all together !!!

Rod.

<--- Massive Oasis fan. I have basically learnt most guitar from playin oasis stuff. I've not tabbed anythin out by them, but i have spent hours discovering which online ones are better than others, so if any1 is after a tab 4 a song I could hopefully point u in the right direction :-)
