OK it seems as though Beatles songs are the order of the day, so here is a nice easy one with a Bm in it
D Bm G A7 D Bm
That boy took my love away.
G A7 D Bm
Though he'll regret it someday,
G A6 D Bm G A
This boy wants you back again.

D Bm G A7 D Bm
That boy isn't good for you.
G A7 D Bm
Though he may want you, too,
G A6 D Bm D7
This boy wants you back again.

D7 G F#m
Oh, and this boy would be happy
Bm D
Just to love you, but oh my-y-y-y
G F#m
That boy won't be happy
A7 A6
'Til he's seen you cry-y-y-oh

D Bm G A7 D Bm
This boy wouldn't mind the pain,
G A7 D Bm
Would always feel the same,
G A6 D Bm G A
'Til this boy gets you back again.

D
This boy
D
This boy
D
This boy...

Chords:
D x00232
Bm x24432
A7 X02020
G 320033
A6 X02222

Hope this one is pleasently recieved ... Enjoy!

The guitar is all right John but you'll never make a living out of it! (John Lennon's Aunt Mimi)

Love this song too!

I'm going to try it tonight (that is, if I can figure how to finger an A6!)

Thanks again, Rodders!

For a typical beatles / 60s type feel to this one try adding a "jangley" little trill between the chord changes as the intro ie....

(D) ddu (Bm) dud ...2/3 - 2/2 - 2/0 - 2/2 (D) ddu (Bm) dud

d= down strum
u = up strum
2/3 = pluck 2nd string 3rd fret etc etc

Play around with it very simple idea but sounds good on lots of 60s stuff especially small faces tunes.

By the way very simular chord / melody structure to The Jam / Paul Wellers - Man In The Cornershop , give it a listen to hear for sure where Weller got a lot of his early ideas from if you can play this you can play em both :D

Dont give a shite about punctuation or spelling , I have to do that all day at work.

Thats very interesting Catcha

So are you saying in other words

-2-2-2----------2-2-2-----
-3-3-3--3-2-0-2-3-3-3-----
-2-2-2----------4-4-4-----
-0-0-0----------4-4-4-----
----------------2-2-2-----
--------------------------

NO NO ......... Go back look again

(D) ddu (Bm) dud ...2/3 - 2/2 - 2/0 - 2/2 (D) ddu (Bm) dud

Posted it that way as the down or upstrum makes all the differance and easiest way to show the idea.
As Id shown the lick its all on 2nd string and just 3rd then 2nd then open then 2nd fret again goes at end of the d chord and bm chord so play .....
d chord down down up then bm chord down up down and THEN the very simple lick and then chords again do it slow and once you get the rythym you will recognise it!!!
Play around with simular ideas and different combinations on the D and Bm Chords and you can find some very simple but effective 60s riffs .

Ie : Try D chord and hammer on pull/ off the first string 3rd fret for a nice lick for "All or Nothing" to fill in the vocals a bit (these sort of "trills" become very useful for accoustic playing to make an easy change to boring strumming)

Sorry if to those that already know this I know its all basic stuff so I dont mean to sound patronising just that sometimes we miss the obvious nice easy touches the 60s greats used without the need to be a virtuoso :D
