Voices Disturbed

This is a great song by Disturbed. It is easy to play.
Tune your guitar a half-step down (1 fret), and then tune your low-E down an additional whole step.

e-----------------------------------
b-----------------------------------
g----------------------------------- X 2
d----9------11-------11-----11------
a----9------10-------9------10------
d----9------9--------9------9-------

This is the intro. It is also played leading into the
2nd verse. It is played by 2 guitars. One clean with
flanger? , and the other distortion that slowly comes
up with a volume pedal. If you know the song you
can figure out the strums.

e----------------------------------------
b----------------------------------------
g---------------------------------------- X 8
d---7--9----7--9----7--9---7--9---3--3---
a---7--9----7--9----7--9---7--9---3--3---
d---7--9----7--9----7--9---7--9---3--3---

Intro Part 2- All power chords. I recommend
playing with your index and ring finger.

Now the verses begin. It is almost exactly like
Intro Part 2 except it's played with single notes.

e-----------------------------------------------------
b-----------------------------------------------------
g----------------------------------------------------- X 4
d-----------------------------------------------------
a-----------------------------------------------------
d--7-9--7-9--7-9--7-9--3-3--7-9--7-9--7-9--7-9--15-15-

OK, here's the chorus. Listen to the song to get the feel.

e----------------------------------
b----------------------------------
g---------------------------------- X 4
d--0--0---0-12--4--9--9--9-9-7-9--
a--0--0---0-12--4--9--9--9-9-7-9--
d--0--0---0-12--4--9--9--9-9-7-9--

On the 4th time through this, when you get to the power chord
At the 4th fret go back to Intro Part 1. Play that once. Then go to
The 2nd verse. Then repeat the chorus exactly the same way. Then…

e---------------------
b---------------------
g--------------------- Part A
d--9--7--10--4--5--7—-
a--9--7--10--4--5--7--
d--9--7--10--4--5--7—-

e---------------
b---------------
g---10--10--10--
d---9---9---9--- Part B
a---8---8---8---
d---------------

Play part A 6 times, part B once, part A 4 times, part B once. Then…

Here is the coolest riff…..

e-----------------------------------
b-----------------------------------
g-----------------------------------
d-----------------------------------
a-----------------------------------
d--9--12-9--10-9--12-9--10-9--10-12-

e----------------------------------
b----------------------------------
g-----------------------------10---
d-----------------------------9----
a-----------------------------8----
d--9--12-9--10-9--12-9--10-9-------

Play this riff twice, then Part B above. Then play this riff twice again, and again Part B above (just hit the chord one single time).

Then, (just to save me some tabbing) Play this riff above in power chord form on the 6th and 5th strings. It's played exactly the same as before including the Part B part.

a--9---12-9---10-9--- Same notes, just power chord form.
d--9---12-9---10-9---

Repeat the Chorus

Repeat Intro Part 2

There's no way I can tab all the little nuances like harmonics and palm mutes.

This will get you very close.

Thanks for the tab Wes. Anyone know which cd this is on?

Thanks guys. I just made a correction to the last riff, I kinda did this in a hurry.

I don't know myself what CD this is on, I learned it off a CD a friend burned.

This is a simplified version just to get you close. There are harmonics at the 7th fret on the 2nd and 3rd strings and string scraping (mute all strings by just touching and then strum) on the intro riff Part 2. You'll have to listen to the recording. But the chords are correct.
