First, thanks to OdNt43 for the reference to the guitarguy.com Here's a #1 song from that site that my parents used to play all the time when I was just a wee lad. In fact, it was #1 twice . . . first by Sonny James in 1956 . . . and again the next year by the actor Tab Hunter. I have "gussied-it-up" a bit by including an intro, a fill, a short instrumental and a couple of additional chords.

For you young uns' out there, here is the audio http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4SDjhffTfI It sounds like it is played in D (and may have a Seventh chord or two that I don't have) but if you want to play along, put your capo on the 2nd fret. So take a trip in the "wayback" machine and try this out!!

I always liked this song. I play the fills differently, but for the 'Easy Song' thread it's just great. Thanks for the memory.

Thanks Denny. If you don't mind taking the time and effort, I would welcome a post regarding the fill(s) you use, as I was just playing around with the song. For that matter, I welcome suggested alternatives/improvements to any of my posts. Thanks again. Shug
