In case anyone is interested, prices just dropped on Arion pedals at MF again. The Tubulator is back to $9.99.

You know, I no sooner put this up here and they put the prices back up again. Go figure! :?

Sometimes they have 2 prices up on the same item ( Its not intentional and they will honor the lower price if that is the case)

I love my tubulator :D

P.S. I just checked, and they are $9.99, but it says "Limited Quantity", so probably won't be on sale for long.

Their chorus pedal is quite good. Looks like they've got it for $14.99 now - that's the price at which I sold my used one!

Seems kind of dumb to spend $7 on a foot-long right-angle cable for a $10 overdrive pedal ... but that's what I just did.

And another $30 for a 1-spot power adapter set. Oh, and $15 to replace that darned Arion chorus pedal that I sold. I'll use it with my bass.

Added some picks and strings ... amazing how quickly you get to the free shipping price point! :D

That's what I forgot! I ordered the Danelectro Fish & Chips EQ, a speaker cable, and another Tubulator, (hey $10, why not! ), and I kept thinking that there was something else I wanted to get.... the 1-spot!! Oh well, next time.

Well, I got and then returned both the Tubulator and the chorus pedal.

The tubulator has a very good lead tone, but I was looking for more of a crunchy rhythm / metal distortion. Also, turning up the gain on my Classic 20 gives much more crunch than the tubulator - with more bottom end as well. I think it would be good for adding some punch and sustain to a solo, but it's not what I was hoping for.

The chorus pedal is one I've owned before and really liked, so I was very disappointed by this one. The one I had previously was very quiet. The one I got this time was terribly noisy - there was a non-stop flanging sound coming out of it, even when it was turned off! Unplugging it was the only way to silence it ... so back it went.
