Hey all. I have a Boss GE-7 Equalizer, and I notice that the LED only turns on when I'm running the pedal off of batteries. I use a Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 unit, so I rarely ever power my pedals with batteries. It's a pain not knowing whether or not this pedal is on. I have to sort of fiddle with it, and stomp on it a few times to determine if it's on or not before I can start playing.

Does anyone know if there is a way to re-wire this pedal so that the LED works when running off of AC power?

That's funny; I have an older version of the Boss bass equalizer and it does the same thing; no LED when powered with a universal 9V adapter. I thought it was just mine that had this problem ...

Maybe try a power pack similar to this

Or an adapter from the plug on your Voodoo thingie to connect to the battery connection, rather than where it's currently connected?
