I'm currently learning yer Blues by the Beatles and was wondering what produced that weird sounding solo. Turns out according to some research that they used a heavy dose of Leslie speakers.

Does anyone know if there are FX pedals that would duplicate that sound or if not what other effects might get close to that?

Would a flanger do it?

The Korg AX10G has a Leslie effect. Run it with the VOXAC30TB amp setting and you're laughing.

The new Digitech EX-7 expression pedal includes the Leslie effect among its 7 main settings. GP mag liked it enough to give it an editor's pick award. Goes for about $200 USD street, but also includes some very good wah and other FX, including distortion models. Played one today, but didn't buy -- sounds good, just not what I need.
