Hey,

Can anyone tell me if there is a stompbox out there for guitar that does one octave below and one octave above the note actually being played. There are plenty that do two below, but I'd like one below and one higher... and the ability to choose one or the other. Thanks.

Electroharmonix has several: http://www.ehx.com/browse/octave-synthesis-pitch

Playing guitar and never playing for others is like studying medicine and never working in a clinic.

I just bought an ME-70 It has octave +1 and octave -1.

It's probably more than what you are looking for though as there are a bunch of effects in it.

Try the Boss Harmonist PS-6. Can replicate allot of what a Whammy does, including one octave up/down and can be had for a hundred bucks on Ebay.

DigiTech's Whammy is another option. Sadly, it's about $200 brand new, but you could probably find it cheaper used.

Here it is on Digitech's site: http://www.digitech.com/products/Pedals/Whammy.php

Scroll over to "Modes," and it'll show you what all the pedal can do.
