Why is it easier to play harmonics on the 5th and 7th fert than the 6th? I thought with it being half of 12 (the easiest fret to play harmonics) it would be fairly easy.

measure it with a tape measure... youll find the frets aren't all the same size.. harmonics has to do with pitch overtones and are divided along equal lengths of the STRING and has nothing to do with frets. the 12th fret is half way along the string...
measuer from the nut to the 12th fret.. and what's in the middle?
