Except one..........

If the B-F 'diminished' interval is the work of the devil...............why weren't diminished chords used heavily by Robert Johnson?

Ah! but wait...
Forget diminished chords. That interval is what makes Dominant 7th chords work. e.g., G7 = G B D F. It eventually became the most important harmonic interval in all Western music - from Bach to Blues. It confirms the theory that the Devil really does have all the best tunes. :)

Damn. I didn't think of that.

So........I'm guessing a commute to liverpool every week to teach guitar lessons would add severely to the hourly rate, huh? :roll:
