Fable

heres a song I wrote awhile back that I pulled out. It needs some work so crituqes and feedback would be great. One a side note, Inspiration is the coolest yet strange thing. I got inspired to right this after hearing the word recoil.

I look around the world
and I recoil from the hate
war, famine, strife
we all helped create

We're in a world thats stable
they sold you the line for true
im here to say its a fable
like the cow jumpin of the moon

I look around the country
and im hurt by lack of pain
there no emotion anymore
dont believe anyone's sane
the decay we all ignore

we're in a country thats stable

I watched the dish runaway with the spoon

I look around this city
and I see its all a mask
inside death and sex is sold
the mayor drinks from his flask
The secretary at her post

I look around this house
and im searchin for a home
all i see are 2 kids, a husband, a wife
and dont forget his lovers moan
no wonder the widow used a knife
