for a year now i have been writing songs and i cant get a good tune on my guitar to fit my songs i know how to play and all it's just i cant fit my music with my lyrics please help me because i dont know what to do because im to the point that im about to quit!!!!! :twisted:

Record your guitar melody/progression, then put your guitar down, and play the recording over and over. Then, start humming along until you've found a vocal melody, then write words to that melody.
Or, if thats too hard, write out a set of words, and then try and put guitar parts to that instead. :)
