This is my first song post...i liked the structure of it and its not overly cheesy, i dont think.
You cant hide
what i seek
Its not high
upon mountain peaks
Nor is it hidden
amonst the weeds
of the seas
Its not encrusted
in jewels glittering
in the eyes of fools
It is never changing
and always there
In the looks we make
finding ways to stare
I never found love
playing hide and seek
I searched hearts
and learned to speak

Some of the line lengths left me struggling. How do you hear this one?

I like to play this with an uppidty blues feel in the key of G. I like to sing the first line in some dirty blues voice...then play a little solo...sing the second line...play a little solo add harmonica. Up untill the last verse where i play some very melodic chords and repeat and alter and repeat and solo and done  :D
What i really like is just singing that one line "Glittering in the eyes of fools" then throwin out a really gritty lick. thanks for your feedback :)
