I've been apart of this group for over 2-3 years now, and I've posted only a few of my songs, but I have a little habit of not posting my material on here..... Then I got a very inspiring idea and I got so excited I wanted to share it with you all.

I own guitargrind.com, and I have been thinking of ways to bring guitar players together, and I think I've found one way. And that is through an extension of the Sunday Songwriters group on guitarnoise. Here it is:

Write Your Songs, Buy A Webcam, Post Song on guitargrind in the "Sunday Songwriters" category - Get Feedback!

To start the group off, I recorded a song from the week "Think about Childhood" ... or somthing like that - it was a childhood memory assignment. Anyway, I really enjoy these weekly assignments, and you can expect video postings of my songs, more to come.

View the Song Here: http://www.guitargrind.com/file/96-my-first-video-quotincredibly-freequot.html

Lyrics:

[Verse 1]

Playin in my sandbox,
all day....
don't want to stop...

my castles really big,
in my mind...
but in reality, i don't have the tools or the time

[chorus]

I want to be
Incredibly Free, ohh
I want to be,
the child inside of me

[repeat chorus]

[Verse 2]

Ridin on my bike,
down the street....
scraped my knees...

mom fixes me up,
real nice...
but i dont understand, why she can be so mad

[chorus]

I want to be
Incredibly Free, ohh
I want to be,
the child inside of me

[repeat chorus]

[Bridge]

Oh yes I....
I want to be free....
Don't let those limits....
Put themselves on me...
Put themselves on me...

[Verse 3]

Playin in my sandbox,
with my boy....
don't want to stop...

his castles really big,
in his eyes...
because in reality, he's got my tools and his time

[chorus]

Looking forward to feedback, please post on guitargrind, or here!

Or we could just upload the video to youtube and post it here instead of the site you're just simply advertising.

I'm sorry you feel that way... YouTube may not be the right audience. You completely missed the point of my post =(

I am however looking forward to feedback on the song or constructive criticisms!!

You were clearly just trying to advertise your site.
