Heres a song i wrote that i kind of liked, its a very slow melodic song, when i was finished it reminded me of the song "julia" by the beatles on the white album.
Lydian
If i could have you, (verse1)
one last time,
Lydian.... I'd do the things i never did before.
Now if i were a rich man, (verse2)
I'd burn it all for you,
Lydian.... If i could just stop your tears.
When i left i asked you, what you would take,
you just shook your head and turned, (chorus)
Lydian, you took nothing but my heart.
If i were a wise man,
I'd have the eyes to see,
Lydian, your all a woman could ever be.
(chorus)
I plan to do some minor adjustments but all comments would be very much appreciated.
Lydian (song not the mode)Thank goodness for that!!
I don't really have any minor adjustments to suggest - it's good. Fits the tempo/mood you were suggesting too. It just seemed very short to me - it's either gonna have to have lots if instrumentals or be really, really slow or it's gonna seem short, IMO.
Well done though!
