Hi everyone, I was just introduced to this site through my dad and was very interested in what's going on here! I'm 24 years old and I wrote my first song when I was 13 and have been at it ever since. I'm currently in a bluegrass band so that is primarily my style, but definitely not my only influence. I got the bug to write thanks to my dad who is one of the awesomest songwriters (melodically and lyrically) and musicians I'll ever know. The song I'm submitting I wrote a few weeks ago. It strays a little from the beaten path with it's imagery and some of the words that I throw in there. Please let me know what you think, good and bad. It has a melody and everything and is ready to go!
