Hi!!! This is a little thing I wrote that I feel can apply to everyone. It's not about me or a specific person. At one point in time you have probably been the person who was scared to go to school cuz of a classmate who bullied you or you have met a person in that situation. Plz feel free to edit my lyrics and comment where necessary. ONLY CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM IS ALLOWED!!! :)
Untitled [plz provide name for my song]
Alarm rings
Get out of bed
Lay awake
Under the covers
Say “For heaven's sakeâ€
Don't wanna suffer
Momma yanks me out
Time for school
Don't be such a fool
Girl in grade 8
Short buck-teethed
My name is Faith
I'm not that great
Lay awake
On the lawn
From dusk till dawn
Momma grins
Good girls go to school
It's just a rule
Girl in grade 8
Short buck-teethed
My name is Faith
I'm not that great
Lay awake
Tired and blue
Listening to Blink 182
Momma turns off music
Never too cool
To go to school
I tell momma
Its little miss Marie
Hates me for me
And says with my hair
Will never be a millionaire
Girl in grade 8
Short buck-teethed
My name is Faith
I'm not that great
I know what you mean by everyone relating to your topic. Everyone at one point in their life is bullied or witnesses bullying and we have to learn to stop it for the betterment of everyone. As for your song, it's pretty good, it sends a strong message. As for a title, I would choose "Faith", not only for the name of the person who's getting bullied, but also for faith that one day this will eventually end
For some reason I like the title "Girl in Grade 8." I don't know why I just think it sounds good. But, anyway I really like it.
Girl in grade 8
Short buck-teethed
My name is Faith
I'm not that great
Lay awake
Tired and blue
Listening to Blink 182
Momma turns off music
Never too cool
To go to school
I really like those two verses. Good job!
