FYI - I sent off some material to the US Copyright office yesterday and when I went to the website to double checked the fees, I found a notice that the fees will be going up July 1:
I can definately jam on this one. I sent in a disc for Sound Recording Copyright the first week of July. In September, I got a letter saying the fees increased. Their office got my disc soon aflter the fees went up. I called and they added the additional money for the fee via credit card. That was September 30. Begining of this month I called to find out the status. It's still in progress. The fee increase has caused a back log on an already strained office.
At least they're nice when I call them. I've got another disc going in this week. I hope it doesn't take as long.
