Here's one from long ago I drug up.
I standardized the lines and put all in present tense.

First verse as originally posted:

Under the Lights

Your eyes upon me tonight (present tense)
Cause me such cheer
Everything I thought I knew about love
Changed the night I saw you (past tense)

Bring such cheer I never knew =7
All I thought I knew of love =7
Has changed now that I've seen you =7

Here standing under the lights =7
Your beauty shines like the sun =7
Entrancing and with delight =7
On white skin my fingers run =7
I'm unsure of what to do =7

Your eyes upon me tonight =7
Take away all of my fear =7
In its place is now courage =7
Not seen before you were near =7
And its all because of you =7 (rhyme with "do" in above stanza)

Here standing under the lights =7
The incarnation of love =7
You have left me spell bound by =7
Your smile which I'm thankful of =7
I'm unsure of what to say =7

Your lips upon mine tonight =7
Causes me to shed a tear =7
The fragile walls that I've built =7
They have now all disappeared =7
For the love you bring my way =7 (rhyme with "say" in above stanza)

We're standing under the light =7
Lovers bound by words so true =7
The wonder of dreams so bright =7
Now I'm sure of what to do =7

With your hand in mine tonight =7
Onto my knees I now drop =7
Tears swell up in your eyes and =7
My lonely heart seems to stop =7
And you say... (I don't know about this ending. Hold your breath, I guess.)
