Coffee cup says I got the quote right, but it's from Seneca.

"A cheerful heart is good medicine."

Maybe that's what they meant to spell.

"A cheerful heart is good medicine."

Someone else posted some good advice today about practicing playing quietly, and learning to fret like you're playing quietly even if you're not.

It was this thing you wrote, Ricochet - but I guess I misinterpreted what you meant. I thought you meant a post here on the forum, obviously not.

Still, I´ve gotten some good advice here from a lot of people - and it´s been interesting to hear from someone who lives (and plays) with tendonitis today. Hope you can keep it up, seem to do well Blue!

Ps. My arm/hand is much better now, so I guess I was over reacting a bit... but as I said, I got some really interesting replies, so it was a good thing still. Ds

Peace!

Oh yeah, that was a post on this forum. I couldn't find it for you quickly, but it was an answer to someone's question in the last few days. Most of this kind of stuff is in the Beginners' Questions section.

"A cheerful heart is good medicine."

I´m happy to say that´s it´s all back to normal again! Well, almost 100%, sometimes it feels a bit "odd" - but no pain, so I think it´s going to be all right!

Thanks for all the advice from you guys!

Obviously, I over reacted a bit in my original post, but I was in a bit of a schock I think

Well, you certainly got our attention? Maybe almost free Medicaid and surgery?

We could have got you some rehab, music therapy and a new guitar...

Anyhow, glad it worked out. I hope it stays in abeyance. 8)

Yeah, thanks! I think it´s going to be allright.

Just hope I haven´t used up my share of "cry wolf":s just yet :D Let´s just put this one down to "schock" and "inexperience" in these matters
