Ok, I love the gibson les paul but dont have the cash. I found this Agile at http://www.rondomusic.net/al2800csbflm.html . It looks just like a les paul but does anyone know if it sounds like it and if the guitar is well made? I have seen a few postings on these agiles that seemed pretty positive. What do people think of Agiles generaly (quality control etc)?
thanks

I have the Agile AL-2000 Gold Hum and I LOVE it! It is SOOOO well made and plays great! I highly recomend this guitar (as I know many other here do as well...

I am also looking at the Agile AL-2000 w/P90 Black just for some variety!

Do have a look at the Japanese made Epiphone Elitist series.
Also, I believe Agiles are available under other aliases. As they are Lorean (err edit Korean :D ) made, there must be a distributor closer to Australia.

Don't feel bad about not being able to afford the Gibson, their quality control, especially on their lower end models is shockingly atrocious for the price they charge.

Don't know who Lorean are, but the Agile line closely matches the Tokai "Love Rocks" line. Both Korean made, surely by the same maker. They both offer several configurations I've not seen in other lines.

I have an Agile AS-820 semihollowbody, which is my favorite electric guitar, and I bought an AL-2500 for my son. Both very nicely made, great sounding, eminently playable guitars.
