I'm looking into amp modeling software - particularly Amplitube.
I don't play in a band/professionally. Played a lot more when I was younger (in bands), now just looking to play all of my favorite metalcore/melodic death metal at home. I also don't really have the ability to crank it, so I'll typically be playing through headphones, or with amp modeling software, through computer speakers.
Amp modeling software seems like a really practical idea for my situation and it seems like it would be a lot of fun playing around with all the different amps/cabs/effects.
I'm curious about your opinion on any other types of amp modeling software, and Amplitube specifically as that's the one I'm looking for. I'm also wondering if anyone knows how the Amplitube software works with the mobile app. I see there's a separate mobile app for purchase, but I'm not sure if I got the full Amplitube (Max) package, if all of those amps/tones/effects would be available on mobile.
