Bass Mixing Plugins

When it comes down to designing the best bass tone for deathcore and progressive metal, Ive got it pretty close to where I want it for live playing, but when it comes to getting it recorded, I know I'm missing something, so I'm down between two plugins to help me sculpt it in a little more nuanced way. In you guys opinions, between Joey Sturgis Tones Bassforge and the (relatively) new NerualDSP Parallax plugin, which would you all go with? I don't know if anyone here has heard of either of these, although I'm sure you have, but if there are any opinions from owners in regards to pros/cons in your own experience I'd love to hear what you think of them, particularly the Parallax Plugin.
