i saw someones review that made me confused on if you could connect it to your amp.
i play a fender telecaster and i need to know about effects!

You bet - the RP 200 can be hooked up to your amp or you can just use it with headphones if you need to keep it quite - check out the online manuals at
http://www.digitech.com/literature.htm
They will show you how to connect to your amp.
