Hi all,

When you see a file like this,

http://www.guitarists.net/tab/view.php/t/tex_ritter/high_noon.crd

what does it tell you?
I can read tab quite happily, and powertab is the best software invention known to man, however, these chord files confuse me. anyone throw some light on it for me?

Yours gratefully,

Rob

The file tells you when to change chords.
E
Do not forsake me, oh my darling
A
On this our wedding day
E A
Do not forsake me, oh my darling
G#m7 F#m7 A B7
Wait, wait along

As you start singing the 1st line "Do .....", you play an E chord. You continue playing the E, until you reach the end of the 1st syllyble of the word "wedding", at which point you change to an A chord.
There are 2 things it won't tell you - the strumming pattern and which voicing of the chord to use. That's left up to you.

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?

I think Greybeards format got screwed up. The way it currently appears, you would play the A on the "On...".
