Hi everyone, ive been playing for about 7 years now, im currently mastering the blues stuff, i usually play minors or several modes, anyways, i have the ability to play a vast majority of yngwie's songs, vai's you name it, not to brag, but the only thing that has been pestering me since the day i started (completely self tought) is that i play dirty, i do nothing but pik, i hardly ever go legato. Ok well when i do anything slow or fast, mainly fast, i always get unwanted noise, ya know like hearing an open string, or when i pull off (not hammer on/pulloff) of say an A note on my treble E, to go to a G note on my B string, my open E eill ring, how can i stop this, any excersizes? im tired of open trin gs sounding out when im in a 15th box pattern. i mean what the hell, ascending is not a problem, i stop the rings with my palm, but how can i stop it when i descend? please help me.
p.s. Bach Rox

Bach Rachs!
Music is like your woman... sometimes its a b*tch, but you would'nt trade it for the world.
