Does anybody know of any site or forum where I can engage myself in discussions about the great three fingered Jazz maestro Django R?
I'm afraid I know of no others that this one...
A truly inspiration guitarist, and one who changed Jazz playing, and even guitar playing forever. If only I could find any of his recordings!

Museenfreund means "friend of museums" :lol:
Irrenanstalt means "madhouse"
Many German words are concatenations - "irren" means to err, go wrong, to be crazy, "Anstalt" is an institution, so institution for the crazy. Although internet is not that far wrong :lol: :lol: :lol:

How does he do that run?
I'll skip the video. Have to download a plugin for a proprietary player called "ViralVideo." That's got bad mojo.

I don't blame you for being wary. The name sounds scary. ViralVideo is the name of the selection of clips on "IFilm" because they are infectous. You can't stop watching them. It plays on Windows Media Player on my computer. You can choose between WMP, RealPlayer, and Quicktime under "Change Video Preferences". I've watched several times, and no spyware or any other problems have occurred.
Anyway, Django's playing, especially the run he does down the entire length of the fretboard toward the end of the clip made my jaw drop the first time I saw it. It is totally awesome, at least to me.
