That's celsius. Wierd thing is that I didn't fell it when I did it. Afterwards, it was just a "that was dumb" thought. :roll:
One time I was messing around with an *ahem* modified plasma globe and had an arc burn its way through my left index finger. First I noticed the smell (burnt hamburger!), then the arc hit the nerve and I yanked my hand away. I had a pin sized black mark on the tip of my finger. I like to think that it was because of the callous that I didn't feel it until it was too late, but it was more likely due to it being high-frequency AC (I hear that you don't feel it right away).
The mark was gone within two weeks and didn't impede my playing. I was lucky.

Thank God you don't work at an ammunitions factory or something...man your having some bad luck with that finger.
Be careful! I had to say that, I'm a dept. safety coordinator here where I work among other things. I might have to do a full investigation of the incident.
