does anyone know of a good efx pedal for metal im kind looking for a sounds like throwdown or maybe even sabbath

If money is no object, Line 6 is or has come out with a new POD XT Live, which is a floor board model of the Pod XT, but with some new features.

Now days they make so many great single and multi effects pedals/preamps leaves the descision a matter of trying some out and making the choice. I could think of lots of different ones that would work for creating that sound and tone. I'll even bet with a equalizer and a overdriven tube amp running at its saturation point at loud volume (no attenuator), without a pedal I could get in the ballpark.
