The guy looking over your shoulder looks impressed! :D Nice choice of coach...or is it you that's teaching him some new moves??...

When I bought my Johnson hollowbody, a friend saw it for the first time and exclaimed "Geez, you've got a big red Johnson there..." and burst into a fit of laughter. :? It was weeks later that I discovered, via the internet, what he was sniggering at. Doesn't seem to commonly have that meaning here.

So I actually have two Johnsons - one big one and one quite tiny one (What?! ...No... noo... the small one is actually a mandolin, and that plays OK too.)

Well, I have a Johnson soprano ukulele, too.

And I used to have yet another Johnson as well, a JR-200 spider resonator.

When I came home with that pic, my daughter saw Jimi and said, "Look! Daddy has a friend!" :D

That is indeed a guitar shop. J.J.'s House of Music, which sadly closed its doors for the last time tonight. I was there at the end.
