If everybody keeps going at this pace, we'll have a thread *exclusively* devoted to injuries! Sorry to hear about your misfortune Nick. Besides, the only picking I use the pinky for is my nose...

Ouch. Take care. Take a few days off work to get better. ;)

Thank you all for your concern.

I hadn't thought about making a guitar neck. Hmm, pressure treated wood guitars, good for home and the camp ground. No termite guarantee.

Tea drinking? I'm a two fisted tea drinker. It's a man's drink. Can't be dainty about it. I'll try.

Splint yes. That lasted about 24 hours. You can't imagine the things you can't do with a splint on your pinky, guitar playing for one, nose picking for two. Broken finger and blinded? No thanks.

Now I'm wearing a glove with two fingers wrapped together, doesn't go with anything.

Too bad its not your fretting hand Nick. You could have slid a slide around it and taped it on.. practiced your slide guitar.

Get to feeling better soon.

Ouch! Hope you heal up soon. I broke the ring finger on my left hand -- twice -- many years ago. And yes, I did try and use the metal spint as a slide, but it didn't work! LOL...

That is EXACTLY why I pay home improvement guys to do it for me! That way, it is THEIR pinky in the line of fire, rather than mine! Well worth the outrageous prices they demand. Feel better soon.
