Gime Some Music!!

For strictly acoutic tunes, some of which have a pop flavour to them, I'd say blind mellon, dashboard confessional, elliot smith, iron and wine, jack johnson, Lifehouse, Nick Drake (a bit of a differnet sound but most people like him), and the tragically hip.

As for classic rock, the only one that comes to mind that you didn't list (if it even falls in that category) is pink floyd.

I'm a huge nick drake, lifehouse fan. jack johnson and iron and wine are good too. just came across Alexi murdoch and greg laswell.
The last two I like the overall song compositions. good stuff. IMO
