Richocet, thanks a lot for the education on reso strings.
+1
And for the reso action, too!
Probably not the best thing to show off the guitar's sound, but I have posted a video in which I played it. It works for banging out basic old bottleneck blues as well as anything.

Cool man!!!!!!!! 8)
So, I hope Mrs R didn't get the rifle out in response......
Really good sounding guitar, btw. Quite a bargain.

Way to go, Ric.
Well done.
Beautiful guitar.
It really puts out a sound.
Congrats on your 30th.
It's the rock that gives the stream its music . . . and the stream that gives the rock its roll.
Thanks!

Very nice guitar! :D
And great playing and great singing!
Thanks for the demo!
Thank you, Nuno!
I'll likely record something instrumental that better showcases the guitar before long, but darn, it's a problem getting a video uploaded to YouTube! Takes many tries over many hours, from the experiences I've had with the two I have posted. I hope they're atypical.

You might want to try Photobucket.
Very easy to upload.
They even have an editing feature that lets you slice and splice the video (or add text, etc.).

I'll have to give 'em a try. I use it for stills. Trouble is, it's good for posting Web links, but people are used to looking on YouTube for videos. Tell 'em your user name and they'll find you easily. I think their system's overloaded. May get better after all the schools are back in session.

I liked the video, Ric. The ultimate bearded smile ! :D
Looking for a reason to be thankful?
Be thankful I can't play the guitar.
Otherwise, I'd be flooding this forum with posts to my videos and sound links.
