Looks like you've got a host of Godfathers and Godmothers lining up here - so we're all looking forward to the christening ceremony. :)
I've got plenty of guitars, beer in the fridge and I've even put up a pine tree for you in the living room - so you just come over ;-)
Think the new miss Dot deserves a serious jam-session to be house warm!

and Paul - so you know Hagstrom... Do you have one? I really liked how it looked and played, but it was slightly above budget so I turned it down initially.

I am fixing a old Hagstrom HIIN from the 70's. Its basically an SG copy. I've only got a few little things to finish on it, but finding time and money has been the problem. It wasn't playable when I got it, so its taken a lot of work.
I've played a few different style of Hags in store. I really like the one you mentioned, as well as the the Swedes, and the new SG copies. They have got some really nice necks. Actually, the HIIN, if I'm not mistaken, was marketed at the time of having the fastest neck.

Congratulations Lars! Very beautiful guitar! :D
And I agree, the day when I bought my Epi LP the store received a black model but I preferred my honey-burst due to gold/orange knobs. As they said everything can be replaced! The black knobs of the Studio models are very nice.
Have fun!
That's a beauty, Lars. Merry ax-mas! :D
All my life I wanted to be somebody. Now I see I should have been more specific.
Quite nice, Lars. Congrats!!! :D

That is a really nice guitar. I have been thinking about getting one myself.
So many guitars so little money.
I bought an AF75. Kind of similar to what you were looking for originally.. but I think the AF85 is a box, the AF75 is just a semi-hollowbody.
Anyway, long story short -- I like it, but I hate the floating bridge. What a pisser that thing is.
Used to be, was a part of me felt like hiding.. but now it comes through. Comes through to you.
Nice Guitar , Lars
When will we here it on a Collaboration Jam ?
Maybe in a BB King jam ?

Very nice Lars. Congrats.
I agree with you about the knobs - they look very out of place on that axe. Black ones will look a whole lot classier IMHO.
Enjoy.

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.
It was them that turned me to drink.
Lars,
Your new guitar looks very very nice. Congrats!
I've looked at Epi Dots and sheratons on and off, I was thinking the other day that I should have perhaps resisted the '51 and held out for a semi hollow....
