ok im a guitarist with a lot of influences...Steve Vai, John Petrucci, Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson etc...( I love solo work), well anyway i need help with some help with some string skipping lead techniques...its like one of thos concepts that i just cant get down. (no octaves please) im familiar wwiht the dorian mode harmonized into 6ths, and yea, any help and examples would be greatly appreciated.
