Hi,
I would like my next acoustic guitar to be either red or blue (to match my Mustang :)) Color choices before brand, what is wrong with me?. Seagull has beautiful guitars and I hear great reviews about them. I do not think I would ever come across a left handed Seagull in a music store though, making it hard to sit down and try one out. I found a very nice looking red acoustic-electric Hohner on Ebay. Does anyone here have a Hohner acoustic? How would you rate it?
Thanks,
Justin
Have you checked http://www.harmony-central.com/Guitar/Data4/Hohner/ for reviews.
I remember years ago they were considered low end but at the time they were just an entry level company. My understanding is they have gotten better but I have never played one.
Post a link to the ebay ad and we can take a look.
QUESTION: Why do you have a bag over your head :?:
Bag?! That is my Indiana Jones style fedora hat. I love that hat.
How is this?
Thanks for the link.
Just pulling your chain because at the right angle it just didn't look like a hat
That does look like a pretty good deal for $189.
that's a pretty guitar...you might wanna get the model and check it out on harmony central and go t Hohner website for the specs...i t hink everyone here would recommend that it have a solid top, not laminated. but still, i think that's one heck of a looker. most hohner guitars ive seen do have the asthetic appeal.
Art and Lutherie make red and blue guitars (although I've yet to see one in a high gloss finish like the one in that listing) and they're the same company as godin/seagul/simon and patrick
there are a few examples on this page
Guitarin' isn't a job, so don't make it one.
Justin , i m extremly delighted to see another left handed out here. And sweet guitar too (the one in the pic). That bag or rather hat , seems funny.
You can also go for a classical guitar and reverse strings. Its a very good options.Classicals are addictive. You don t wanna play anything once you get to em.
 (you can see my pic with my classical somewhere down in the opinions and polls forum )
