Kinda...
I just bought a Behringer X V-Amp (Amp modeler and multi effects pedal). I can't believe (let me say that again) I CAN'T BELIEVE how cool my cheap crappy guitar and amp sound! Tonight I'm going to permanently attach myself to my guitar.
I got it new on ebay for about $80.00.
Just had to tell someone...

Cool! 8) Sounds like you'll be having a fun weekend! Put some soundclips up for us to hear if you can.

I will. The guitar sounds freakin awesome...I still don't...oh well
another happy guitar player 8)
even god loves rock-n-roll
I know what you mean. I have a couple of different amp modelers and they both give me great musical enjoyment!
You are going to enjoy your guitar on many new dimensions now.

"I play live as playing dead is harder than it sounds!"
"I sound like Slash" -- is that a compliment?
On numerous occasions I've said -- "Damnit, I sound like Slash. I need to practice more."
Used to be, was a part of me felt like hiding.. but now it comes through. Comes through to you.
lol
i like slash's solos with GnR.. Really simple sounding, but real tough to do.
New toys are cool. I've got five hardware guitar/bass modelers and two software modelers, always a pleasure to use them. I'm starting to enjoy software modelers more and more, really reduced the stress of recording for me. :D
If it makes you happy, then that's money well spent. Out of interest - what guitar and amp are you using? More info please!
:D :D :D

Hey Vic,
I have a Marshal G10 practice amp. I play a 80 something Fender Strat and a First Act Strat copy.
The sound has always been pretty decent, but there's a real difference with the X V-Amp.
