I wish I could be a son like that someday...(though my dad does not play guitar).

Thanks everyone! He bought it from a guy that belongs to the car racing forum (see the similarity already?) that my son belongs to and frequents every day. He knew that I was interested in a Tele and he told me about this one, but I kind of forgot about it (yeah right) and he came home with it on Saturday night. He really is a good kid (well he's 22), and does nice things for everyone often, but this was the biggest surprise I've had in a long time.

Vic, I would love to record some sound clips but I don't have any recording equipment, or talent for that matter. Seriously though, I will try to do that in the next couple of months. Any ideas on inexpensive recording gear?

All I use is a cheap PC mic and Audacity. Just put the PC mic in front of my amp and record what I'm playing.
