Hi, all.
I've dug myself into a hole. A bass playing friend of mine wants me to teach them some six string stuff, and they particularly want to learn the blues scale. However, I don't know it very well- I've just looked it up, found one version, but it doesn't seem to be a moveable version. Can somebody tab it in a moveable fashion for me?
Thanks,
Shady
Take care,
Casey
http://www.chordsandscales.co.uk/tools/pentatonic_scale_tool.html ...just tell him to ignore the top two strings ;)
Those are the 5 pentatonic shape, and they're all movable - whichever note the highlighted root note is on is the root for that scale. So, for example, click the red button to turn on the major roots, pick a shape, line up the red indicator with, say, B, and you're playing B major pentatonic.
