I have been wanted to straighten up my practice area for quite a long time. I went to Walmart last weekend and purchased a $70 computer desk to modify. I didn't want to ruin a "good" desk. I really like the way it turned out and I am always looking for new ideas or "add-on's" to make it better so suggestions are welcome!

Here is the mixer stand I built using the CPU shelf that came with the desk. The next picture shows how I attached it to the desk.

I used electral box covers that had threaded holes in them (the 2 top ones with angled holes). The bottom mounts were flat and only had one hole.

Here is my ever-growing pedal collection!

Again, if you happen to think of anything I can add to the desk (ie. shelf/mount, etc) let me know. I will be building a rack mount as soon as I get more gear to fill it!

Wow, man! You're gear sure has multiplied. I think I'm going to show this pics to the wife and say "See, he's been playing about the same amount of time as me and look how much stuff he has!!" :D

I like the setup, though. It's nice to be able to devote an area to the stuff. That's what my garage is for 8)

Nice set up there mic. When I get my mixer in the upcoming weeks, I too hope to set out something similar to that.

With the same mixer, both with dell laptops, v-amps, and LP copies, we will have a strangly similar setup.

Looks like a great setup Mike! Have any clips recorded with this setup? I'd love to hear how it all sounds.

Man, I'm getting GAS real bad about now   Nice setup!! How do you like the Danelectro pedals :?: In my studio I used some luan doors and set them on some old particle board shelving that i turned on there side, I really need to wrap some wires  but its a cheap way to go and it gives you a lot of space--the dog

Its an old stereo Princeton Chorus, sounds great with the Tele for country picking. I don't use the chorus effect much.--the dog

Hi Mike
I am impressed with your set-up.
Lots of Behringer gear.
The angled shelf with the mixer and the DBOSS thing is good.
Makes it easy to adjust and see the settings of the mixer.

That's what I though. I have the same one. I love the clean, but the overdrive is lacking. I actually tried it out, with a 70's swamp ash tele. I can't remember the exact year, but the amps original owner owned the tele, and it certainly could sing. I've never heard a guitar that nice since.
