Ok i was given a red squire tele... Its in rough shape chipped pains, missing knobs, scratched pickguard, neck is in great shape though...... I plan on repaint it, upgrading the hardware, and adding new pickups....

My current Tele is great I love it, but I want to customize this one for my band. Cornerstone is a Christian rock band and I would love to play to guitars one each for certain songs.... Right now I have this great just blues country rock sound from my current setup... I am looking for pickup suggestions for this new "toy project of mine" Thinking about a humbucker in the neck? I'm looking for that power ballad just tear through your soul tone. Any ideas... also up for suggestions on other mods i mean its free i can do whatever and if i screw it up oh well.... I still have my baby...it is a solid back (no string through body) so I want someone to air brush or paint a nice cross and stuff on the back.....

Give me opinions please?

Seymour Duncan Tele Hot Rails for the humbucker. Assuming your project guitar is a standard Tele single coil, no routing needed, fits right into the tail piece.

first off you need to change the color. red is the devils color.

I would think that a humbucker in the neck position would be good for killer rythym tone. how are you amping your guitars?
