Congratulations man, best wishes for you two. I don't know anyone who played at their own weddings, however and two weddings I've played at people from the grooms and brides party have sang, or played guitar.

Congrats! I've not heard of anyone playing at their own wedding. It's always fun to do something slightly different though! Sounds like you enjoyed yourself as well.

I've written a few songs (lyrics only), one of which I'd thought about recording and playing at my wedding. Either that or have the person(s) playing at the ceremony play it for my bride.

Congrats, man - Phillipines is a lot more romantic the Bradford, West Yorkshire, I can tell you.

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?

congrats on the wedding and the playing. Must have either been the easiest palying or the hardest playing of your life (depending on your POV at the time =P ). For my funeral....one song and one song only....highway to hell by AC/DC.

Guitarin' isn't a job, so don't make it one.

Best wishes to you and your new bride.

But when she says "Hon, it's time for bed", don't say, "Wait a minute sweetheart, I've almost got this chord change down" :D

I've always thought a great wedding song would be Robert Johnson's "Come On In My Kitchen."

Played and sang (Gathering Flowers for the Masters Bouquet) at my Fathers funeral last year. Don't plan on being around for my own.
