I've been looking around for a reocrder of some sort, most preferably a digital 8-track. On musiciansfriend they're all about $300 USD plus shipping. At my local music store again it's about $400 Canadian for something that records to a CD or MD.

I've been looking on eBay for used, but you usually only find old but then-good stuff, which is still fairly expensive usually.

Does anyone know a solution here?

If I just bought a $100 tape recorder from musiciansfriend how would you convert analog to digital without further equipment?
