I didn't want to steal YoYo's thread but Vic brought up a good discussion item on an old song with a lot of hidden meanings in it
Funny that....we played "Hello Mary Lou" in the pub tonight...led into a discussion about "Garden Party" and who really was the Walrus...
Yoko brought John Lennon with her who of course, was responsible for the Beatles song "I Am The Walrus."
And who was Mr. Hughes hidden in Dylan shoes. Popular consensus was George Harrison who covered a bunch of Dylan songs in an album that I don't think got released. Plus I understand he always traveled incognito as Hughes
Was there anything else in that song?
And, was the crowd really booing him or the fact that the police were dragging out a bunch of people out for some unknown reason?
Rick Nelson said "Yoko brought a walrus"....meaning John....
"I am the walrus"....John Lennon
"And here's another clue for you all,
The Walrus was Paul".....(Glass Onion)
hmmm....seems to me we need a Musenfreund ruling on this one....
:D :D :D

'To talk of many things:
Of shoes -- and ships -- and sealing wax --
Of cabbages -- and kings --
And why the sea is boiling hot --
And whether pigs have wings.'"
