Anyone know anything about a 1970's era SERIES A guitar made in Japan prior to Gibson legal action. I am interested in buying it as it is supposed to be a Les Paul knockoff. Seller tells me that it is high quality arch top but can find no info on the net about this instrument.

The "Gibson legal action" story is, apparently, blown way out of proportion. It's used to give value to anything that comes out of that period, whether it deserves it or not.
I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?
