I love this guitar! It's so easy to play!

And it only gets better and better.
BTW, does anyone know off hand the fret-board radius? Is it 12" or 10" ..thanks.

#4491....
Here's an email reply I received from Musician's Friend after trying to order a 51. I went back to the site a little while later and got one. I guess it pays to be persistent.

I am sorry. You received that error because the item you were trying to purchase sold out before you were able to submit your order. Our inventory updates every 15 minutes, unfortunately that gives a 15 minute window that our product might show available when it is not.
Please let me know if I can be of any further service,
Lisa
9-1/2" Thank you .. specs have disappeared from the fender site, and I am trying to adjust the string height by the book :-)

In case anyone is interested, the chrome replacement bridges for the '51 are now in stock at GuitarFetish. I just ordered one.

Greg, that is a thing of beauty. I'm not liking that switch as well but I understand the simplicity.
But the rest is fantastic. :D

Wow, I cannot believe this thread is still going 30,000+ posts!
Just had to tell Greg I really like the look of his '51. 8)
That P-90 looks very interesting, how do you like it?

Thanks, guys.
I don't know yet how it sounds, but the Toronado was once offered with P90s, and it was pretty cool. Plus, I'm a P90 fan anyway, and have both hot wound and "normal" P90s to try out in this. And for those who love the original pup (Wes?), I have two more '51s still in stock shape -- though I'm thinking of changing one over to Filtertron style pups and adding a Bigsby trem + roller bridge. Just have to decide if that would be white with tortoise shell or Gretsch orange with creme.

Wow  Very classy looking 8)
I like the switch; I have problems with that knob trying to tell if I've actually changed position or I just pulled the knob itself! On another note, we only have 5 more pages to go... :D
Here, I'll help.
