im new, sure, cnat play propperly yet. but i have had a guitar for along time.
if the strings are newish they wont break for a long time, if not atall., make sure its all tigthened up though to make sure nothing does pop off.
its a good price, as its second hand, should be good condition i guess. my one was £180 brand new.
Looks like a pretty good price. have you plugged it in and played it, does it sound fine on all the frets? Anyway you can't go wrong, it a good starting place to get acquainted with an electric.

Cheers for the info guys!
I bought it on Saturday for £70!
It looks and plays well- no buzzing (checked the whole fretboard!) - not a mark or scratch (even the protective plastic was still on it!) - checked the Intonation (as per Nils page - cheers Nils!) which was fine! The trem was not on the guitar but i have it in case i want it (which for the moment i don't anyway!). The amp is only a small basic 10w but even that works fine.
All in all, i think i got a v.good deal - I'm very pleased with it!!!!!!
p.s.
now I have got my eye on a POD2 effects box someone else I know is selling!! £100 never used - he's buying the newer one so won't need this one!
anyone rate these handy little gadgets?
I'm told it does just about all the effects you would usually buy seperate pedels and such for?
Hmm..... is the G.A.S. I smell??
For the uninitiated, GAS stands for Guitar Acquisition Syndrome
