I want to start playing some Jazz guitar (just to get a good feel for it and to develop it into my style, in other words, i'm not interested in becoming a serious jazz musician), but I don't know where to start. I've been on different sites but they seem to really just dive into jazz, without explaining theory, technique or anything. I was wondering, are there any exercises or really good websites that anyone knows about? I'm really just interested in learning how to improvise on guitar and use complex chords (7ths, 9ths, 11ths, 13ths) in songs if that helps, thanks.
